This is not just a drive - it is a return to the golden age of motoring. From the sacred asphalt of Modena’s test tracks to the cypress-lined avenues of Bolgheri, the Tuscany Drive Tour invites you to experience Italy exactly as it was meant to be seen: from behind the wheel.

Over seven days, we blend the adrenaline of the Motor Valley with the slow-paced luxury of the Tuscan hills.

Expect challenging roads, exclusive vineyard access, and a community of like-minded enthusiasts who understand that the journey is the destination.

Itinerary

Arrive in Modena, the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley. The evening ignites with an exclusive Welcome Dinner where you’ll meet the Smell of Classics team and fellow enthusiasts. Ignite your passion for the journey ahead over exquisite cuisine, just steps from where automotive legends were born.

Day 1

Start the day with an immersion into high-performance history at a renowned Motor Valley Museum. We then head south toward Buggiano. Prepare for an unforgettable drive on the legendary SS12, the very asphalt where Ferrari tests their prototypes—a true pilgrimage for any petrolhead.

Day 2

Navigate deeper into the iconic Tuscan countryside, tracing a route through rolling hills lined with cypress trees and historic vineyards. Our drive culminates in a highly anticipated stop: culinary experience at the prestigious location near Florence. After lunch we continue our drive to the hotel near Siena.

Day 3

A well-deserved Free Day in Siena. Choose your pace: wander through the UNESCO-listed city center, savor the timeless elegance of the Piazza del Campo, or for the bold, take an optional spirited drive on sections of the famed Strade Bianche (White Roads)—a thrilling taste of motorsport heritage.

Day 4

With batteries recharged, your car takes on the best hidden roads of Tuscany, leading you through sun-drenched vineyards. We cruise toward Arezzo before arriving at the stunning shores of Lago Trasimeno. The day concludes in Umbria with an exquisite dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5

A spectacular transition day! We drive from the rustic heartland to the coast, passing through the ‘Home of the Super Tuscans.’ The final leg takes you down Bolgheri’s cypress avenue to the Mediterranean Sea. Celebrate with a luxurious Farewell Dinner and a well-earned glass of wine by the water.

Day 6

Wake to the calming sound and sight of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a leisurely, coastal-view breakfast, reflecting on the kilometers driven and memories made. We conclude the tour after breakfast and start our journeys back home.
