Smell of Classics brings together carefully selected cars and guided drives through the Alps and beyond, organised by people who would rather spend the weekend on a mountain pass than anywhere else.
Smell of Classics was founded in Switzerland in February 2022 out of a love of cars that had long gone beyond a hobby. Owning nice cars was never the point. The real joy came from driving them and sharing the road with people who feel the same way, and that still shapes everything we do.

Every car we offer is chosen as if it were for our own garage
We choose every car as if we were buying it for our own garage, so we only take on cars with a known history and a condition we are proud to stand behind. Before a car is listed, we inspect it thoroughly and drive it ourselves, and we describe its condition openly so that you know exactly what to expect when you see it.
Drives
Every drive feels like a weekend away with good friends
Our drives are not ordinary events with a programme to follow, since we see them as weekends among friends who happen to share a love of driving. We keep each group small and the atmosphere relaxed, so new faces quickly become familiar ones and many of the friendships that start on the road carry on long after the tour.

Maurycy has followed the car market for most of his life, across decades, brands and price ranges. He knows the small details that separate one version of a model from the next, from a gearbox option to an original colour code. He works on his own cars by hand. Every car we sell, he has driven first.
